After finding out a few weeks ago that his heart needed some lovin', my dad was scheduled for bypass surgery. Yesterday the doctor operated and did three bypasses. The surgery went well and my dad is doing great today. He's comfortable and recovering in the hospital for the next few days. After that he'll have a couple of months at home to completely recover. I am so glad the doctors caught this - and I'm optimistic because this was the first great step to him getting healthy. I really appreciate everyone's support, thoughts, and prayers over the last few weeks.
