The water was violet. I swear. Beautiful.

The airport is on its own separate island, so after we were greeted

we took the Hilton yacht over to their island.

Pulling up to the Hilton's property

Enjoying the first sunset from our bungalow (while sipping on Tahiti Drink)

The next morning we went out on a boat tour to swim with sharks...

After the captain finished feeding them, we got in the water and had the chance to swim with them. I'm not going to lie, it had my heart pounding. But I'm glad we did it! Their bellies were full so they didn't show much interest in us.
After we snorkeled through a beautiful reef, the captain took John out on a secret mission. They came back with an octopus!

Next up was swimming with the sting rays. Same drill....the captain fed them and then we were allowed to get in the water with them. They were slimy and gross. No pics to share of us in the water with them, but come on over and we'll show you the video!

After that we took a boat tour around Bora Bora

Waves breaking on the reef. The waves are about 30 feet high!

And then stopped at a small motu (island) to talk around and collect shells

To be continued...
